Hey there, I’m Cole – or Evan, Evan is my middle name, but you can read more about that below. I am a landscape photographer turned portrait specialist. For the past six years, I’ve been honing my skills with a camera to capture breathtaking landscapes at State and National Parks across the country. But as I grew in my craft, I discovered a passion for portrait work that allows me to bring memories to life for my clients. I love incorporating natural settings into my shoots, whether it be a park down the street or a National Park I’ve been itching to visit.
My favorite destination for photography is Valley Forge, where I can explore the park’s diverse settings and find inspiration in the natural beauty around me. When I’m not behind the camera, you can find me reading a good book, going to the gym, meditating, spending quality time with my 11-year-old Pitbull mix, Theia. She’s my constant companion and best friend, even if she’s not always photogenic!
In my free time, I enjoy a variety of hobbies, from watching movies and comedy to golfing, biking, camping, fishing, meditating, and of course getting lost on new trails. I’m also a regular gym-goer and prioritize my mental and physical health.
For me, photography is all about balance. I love immersing myself in nature and capturing the beauty around me, but I also recognize the importance of unplugging and enjoying the outdoors for what it is. Whether I’m taking landscape photos for my own enjoyment or simply taking in the sights and sounds of the great outdoors, I strive to stay present and appreciate the moment.

Photography is my true passion! It all started with my love for exploring National Parks and my desire to capture their natural beauty. As my skills grew in landscape photography, I found myself drawn to the art of capturing people’s unique personalities and emotions through portraits. Slowly but surely, I built up my portfolio and developed a reputation as a talented photographer. It’s been an incredible journey, and I’m grateful for every opportunity to capture the beauty of life through my lens. Now I offer the following types of portrait photography sessions: Family/Couple, Professional Headshots, Event, and Senior/Graduation Photography.

My middle name is Evan, and it’s become a bit of a running joke among my friends. When I started my photography business, I knew I wanted to incorporate my love for the outdoors into the name, but “Cole Outside” just didn’t have the right ring to it. So I combined the joke with my passion for nature, and Evan Outside Photography was born. Big thanks to R. Leiss for helping me come up with the perfect name.
